Terms and Conditions – Precision Driving Academy

These Terms and Conditions apply to all driving lessons, packages, and gift vouchers provided by Precision Driving Academy. By booking lessons or purchasing vouchers, you agree to the following terms.

All pupils must hold a valid UK provisional driving licence and meet the legal requirements to drive. Pupils must be fit to drive and not under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or medication that may affect driving. The instructor reserves the right to refuse or terminate a lesson if the pupil is unfit to drive or behaves inappropriately.

Single lessons are booked and paid for individually. Block bookings, such as 5 × 2-hour sessions, must have a deposit paid to secure the booking. A full payment is required before the first lesson. Lessons and packages are non-transferable and must be used within the validity period stated at purchase. Gift vouchers are valid for twelve months from the date of issue, are non-refundable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Refunds prior to starting lessons may be subject to an administration fee of £10. Refunds are not available once the first lesson of a package has taken place.

Pupils must give at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a lesson. Lessons cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice will be charged in full. If the instructor cancels a lesson, it will be rescheduled at no additional cost.

Pupils must be ready at the agreed start time and location. If a pupil is late, the lesson will still finish at the scheduled end time. If the instructor is late, lost time will be added or carried forward.

Driving test bookings must only be made with the instructor’s agreement to ensure readiness. Use of the instructor’s car for a test is at the instructor’s discretion. The instructor is not responsible for DVSA cancellations or delays. A minimum of two hours is usually required on the day of a test to allow for warm-up and test preparation.

Lessons may be postponed if weather or road conditions are unsafe. In such cases, lessons will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

The instructor’s car is fully insured for tuition and driving tests. The instructor cannot be held responsible for DVSA cancellations, traffic delays, or circumstances beyond their control.

All lessons, block bookings, and vouchers must be used within the stated validity period. Unused lessons or vouchers after the expiry date will be non-refundable.
