What Do I Need Before My First Lesson?

You must have a valid UK provisional driving licence and be fit to drive. Please bring your licence to the first lesson.

 

How Do Payments Work?

* single lessons- Pay 50% deposit for the first lesson, remaining due at the start of lesson. Payment for subsequent lessons are due at the start of each lesson.

*Block bookings- 10% deposit required with the rest due at the start of the first lesson. These are non-transferable and MUST be used within specified timeframe (listed on each package)

*Gift Vouchers- Must be paid in full- Valid for 12 months from date of purchase

 

Can I Give My Lessons Or Voucher To Someone Else?

No- all lessons, block bookings and gift vouchers are non-transferable. This means they can only be used by the person named. They cannot be shared or transferred to another person.Can I Get A Refund?Refunds are not available once the first lesson of a block booking has taken place. Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative. If you request a refund before starting lessons, this may be subject to a £10 admin fee.

What If I Need to Cancel Or Move A Lesson?

Please give at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may result in the lesson being charged in full. If you cancel more than 3 lessons within a 3 month period, lessons could be discontinued at the instructors’ discretion. If your instructor needs to cancel for any reason, your lesson will be rescheduled at no extra cost.

 

What Happens If I’m Running Late?

If you’re late the lesson will still end at the original time. If your instructor is running late they will attempt to contact you to inform you, the time will be added on at the end of lesson or caried over if this is not an option. If your instructor is more than 30 minutes late, you have the right to reduce your lesson time or reschedule. (1-hour minimum lesson)

 

Can I Use My Instructor’s Car For My Driving Test?

Yes, usually- but only if your instructor agrees you are test-ready. You will need to book a 2-hour lesson on test day. The instructor is not responsible for any DVSA cancellations or delays.

What About Bad Weather?

Safety comes first! If the weather or road conditions are unsafe (snow, ice, flooding, etc.), your instructor reserves the right to postpone the lesson. If this happens the lesson will be arranged at no extra cost.

Is The Car Insured?

Yes- the instructors car is fully insured for driving lessons and tests.

 

Do My lessons Or Vouchers Expire?

Block bookings each have their own expiry date, and this will be made clear at the time of booking. If you have any questions regarding this, please speak to your instructor. Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from purchase. Any unused lessons or vouchers will expire after this date and are non-refundable.
